David A. Hamm

David A. Hamm, of Hardscrabble Road found eternal peace on Monday, January 2, 2023 at home.

David was born on August 29, 1960 in Cobleskill and graduated from Middleburgh Central School in 1978.  He worked several jobs before finding his niche with the Union of Operating Engineers, where he stayed for many years. 

David loved the outdoors, swimming, hunting, snowmobiling and was a member of the West Fulton Rod and Gun Club.  Trips to the beach and fishing at Raquette Lake were also favorite destinations and have brought his family many memories.  He also loved watching “COPS” on television and any opportunity to throw back a cold one and relax with family and friends.

David will be held forever in the hearts of his daughter: Brooke (Angelo) DeLiso of Islandia; his son: Ryan (Evelyn) Hamm of Middleburgh; his grandchildren: Aydan, Lorenzo and Niko DeLiso and Avery and Andrew Hamm; his siblings: Lois (Joe) Kasten, John (Christine) Daniels and Donald (Linda) Daring; many nieces, nephews and his faithful four-legged companion “Honey.”   David was predeceased by his father: Roger Hamm; his mother: Lois (Thorington) Daniels and his step-father: John Daniels.

While no formal services will be held, David’s family thanks you for thinking of him and them through this time.  Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC of Middleburgh is honored to be caring for David and his family.
