Charles W. Lindquist, of Chapel Road, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his home.
Chuck, as the closest people in his life called him, was born 60 years ago on July 19, 1960 in Freeport, NY to Mary (Gozdziewski) and Carl W. Lindquist.
Chuck received his Culinary Degree from SUNY Cobleskill and had most recently worked at the Stockyard Public House in Charleston Four Corners. Nothing brought him more happiness than savoring the sweet, smokey aromas of the Barbeque he was famous for, or feeling the Cue stick between his fingers and concentrating on the billiard balls. Wrack’em up again boys, in his honor and get the 8-ball in the corner pocket for him! He also loved celebrating the 4th of July every year and never, ever missed his beloved fireworks. Chuck loved watching football too and was a loyal Jets fan since he was a young boy on Long Island, watching them play at Shea Stadium with his dad. Through thick and thin, Chuck never gave up on the Jets.
Loving him forever are his mother: Mary Lindquist of Starr, SC; his sisters: Debra (Sean) Byrne of Schoharie and Susan Lindquist of Clifton Park; his brother: Gary Lindquist of Hudson; his niece and nephews: Morgan Ritchie, Jason Byrne, Justin Byrne, Jacob Lindquist, James Lindquist; his cousin and best friend: Michael Gozdziewski of Schoharie.
A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at the family’s convenience and they thank you for remembering them through this time.
Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC of Middleburgh is honored to be caring for Chuck and his family.
