Middleburgh – Sally Juan, 75, formerly of West Fulton, died Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Robinson Terrace in Stamford.
Sally was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on December 22, 1942, a daughter of Concepcion and Jose Juan.
Moving with her family to America at 8 years old, Sally grew up and lived in the Bronx. She devoted herself to her family, sharing wisdom, tough love and humor. Fond memories of stories being read, knitting, dancing and her passion for Chlorox will always be treasured by her family. Her love and nurturing spirit not only raised her family, but oversaw many gardens and plants that she grew through the years as well, showing her love of nature and the outdoors.
Sally now joins her beloved son Steven, who predeceased her on September 29, 2017.
She will be held forever in the hearts of her daughters: Sally Ann (Nicholas) Martz of Lutz, Fl and their children: Nicholas and Michael Martz, Audrey (Bryan) Rivera of West Fulton and their children: Jazmin (Kris), Justin and Lucas Rivera; son: Kenneth (Rebecca) Colon of Esperance; daughter-in-law: Stacy Goodfellow-Colon of Cobleskill and her children: Brayden, Jillissa, Caleb and Parker Colon; great-grandson: Jayce Harrington; sisters: Lucy Cernas and Aracely Morales of Bronx, Josephine Ojeda of Babylon, NY; brother: Jose Juan of San Jua, Puerto Rico and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, 134 River Street in Middleburgh. All are invited to a visitation from 1-2PM at the funeral home, prior to the service. Spring interment will be in Middleburgh cemetery.
