Middleburgh – Linda E. Corazzini, 72, of Anderson Road, died Wednesday, February 13, 2019, peacefully at her home.
Linda was born in Bridgeport, CT on July 10, 1946 to Esther (Back) and Allan Anderson.
She graduated form Middleburgh Central School in 1964 and worked as an accountant for Flahs Department Store and then M. Solomon Furs. Linda was also a cook and bartender at the Bears Inn.
Favorite memories of her life include racing her father’s Studebaker and putting it in the ditch, dying her hair green as a teenager, being expelled for drinking soda in class and writing two poems that would later become hit songs in the 1960’s.
Linda grew up on the family farm and loved animals, gardening and planting flowers. Her home was adorned with award winning flower beds and plants of all kinds.
She was also a talented cook and baker, cooking too much food for gatherings and sharing homemade treats with family and friends on special occasions and holidays.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter: Tina Corazzini of Watervliet; grandson: Daniel Harvey of Rotterdam; brother: John Anderson of Troy and her beloved cat, “Skeeter.”
A memorial service will be held at 12PM on Saturday, February, 23, 2019 at Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, 134 River Street, Middleburgh, with Pastor David Houck of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church officiating.
