Middleburgh- Kermit P. Armlin, 77, of Clauverwie, died Sunday, March 11, 2018 in the warmth and love of his home following declining health.
Kermit was born on July 14, 1940 at the family home in the Town of Fulton, to Helen (Stanard) and Isaac Armlin and was the last surviving sibling of 14 children.
He was a carpenter by trade, working many years at Local 157 in Schenectady before retiring. Kermit loved hunting, fishing and visiting casinos for relaxation and fun. Visiting with friends and family over a good meal was also tops on his list and he lived to collect treasures, as he called them, of all shapes and sizes.
He was predeceased by his son, Todd Duke and is survived by his wife: Janice (Losee) Armlin, whom he married on July 1, 2014; sons: Kermit Armlin of Middleburgh, Christopher Duke of Gilboa; daughter: Maria Bernard of Gilboa; grandchildren: Kelly Bernard and Michael Bernard; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A spring committal service will be held at Armlin Hill Cemetery for family and friends. No formal visitation or funeral service will be held at this time.
