Delores Kennedy Obituary

Delores E. Kennedy ''Dory'', 76, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 in Cooperstown, with her loving family by her side.

Delores was born in the town of Middleburgh on July 18, 1942 and married Kenneth Kennedy, the love of her life, on June 6, 1959. Together for 59 years, they enjoyed making many memories with family and friends.

A one of a kind woman, Delores worked for the State Of New York for many years, yet devoted her entire world to caring for and loving her family.  She found relaxation on many camping trips and in making beautiful crochet work.

Holding her memory the closest are her husband: Kenneth J. Kennedy of Middleburgh; her children: Reuben (Alice) Kennedy Sr., of Middleburgh, Robert Kennedy of Middleburgh and Sonya (Bob) Warner of Gallupville; her many grandchildren and many more great-grandchildren; her siblings: Roseann, Gladys, Peggy, Anna, Bobbie, Alan and many cherished friends.

All are invited to a funeral service at 10AM on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, 134 River Street, Middleburgh with Rev. Paul Ferenczy officiating.  Burial will follow in Middleburgh Cemetery.  There will be no formal visitation before the service.
