Richmondville – Barbara A. Hoop, 66, of Sawyer Hollow Road, died Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital.
Barbara was born on August 1, 1951 in the Town of Fulton to Beatrice (Heness) and Erving Bouck.
She loved her grandchildren, singing karaoke, visiting on the phone and playing Nintendo games.
Barbara was predeceased by her parents, sisters: Helen (Edna) Hoop, Caroline Bouck, Eunice Munzo; brothers: Joe Bouck and James Bouck.
Cherishing her memory is her husband, Patrick Hoop, Sr., whom she married in 1982 and her children: Lawrence (Tammi) Schrom, Jr. of Richmondville, Mark (Anna) Schrom of Middleburgh, Patrick (Tanya) Hoop, Jr., Michelle (Michael) Salomon of Richmondville, Angel (Charles) Hoop of Schoharie; 16 grandchildren; sister: Margaret (Alice) Bouck of Middleburgh; brother: Steve (Marty) Bouck of North Carolina; aunt: Lila Myers of Florida; nieces: Rosemary (Fred) Hoop, Victoria Bouck of Watsonville, many other nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 6PM on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC 134 River Street, Middleburgh. All are invited to a visitation from 5-6PM prior to the service. Spring interment will be in Breakabeen Cemetery.
