Middleburgh- Thomas C. Daugherty, 64, of State Route 30, died Monday, November 27, 2017 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.
Thomas was born on March 3, 1953 in Patterson, NJ to the late Helen D. (Leonard) and Charles E. Daugherty.
Following school, Thomas served in the United States Marines during Vietnam.
He worked many places, most recently at Lenny’s Tire Service in Middleburgh before retiring in 1999.
Thomas enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and hunting, bowling, watching the Cooking Channel, NASCAR and QVC.
He was predeceased by his grandson: Matthew Arnold and his sister: Joan Foley.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Caroline (Keller) Daugherty, whom he married on August 19, 1988 and his children: Holli Cook of Middleburgh, Pamela (William) Truax of Stephentown, Sharon (Rich) Sands Johnson of Pine Plains, Christopher Daugherty of Middleburgh; his siblings: Helen Baker, Charles Daugherty, David Dougherty, Richard Dougherty; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and other family members.
All are invited to a Celebration of Life that will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the North Blenheim United Methodist Church, State Route 30, North Blenheim.
