Robert W. Van Keuren

Maryville, TN - Robert William “Will” Van Keuren, 43, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017.

Will was born on October 30, 1974 in Tuscon, Arizona to Robert H. and Sally Van Keuren.

He graduated from Shadle Park High School in Spokane, Washington in 1993 and most recently worked as a security guard for Walden Security in Knoxville, Tennessee.

As a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church, Maryville, Tennessee; Will sang in the choir and was a dedicated member of the Kairos Team.

In his spare time, Will enjoyed supporting the local community through various activities, spending hours with projects in the workshop with his Dad, cooking and baking with his Mum, and corresponding with his sister, family and friends all over the world through social media.

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Sally Van Keuren of Maryville, Tennessee, and his sister, Tammy L. Van Keuren of Columbia, Maryland. Will’s survivors also included his family which extended all over the world to include his brother-in-law, Michael F. Thompson, nephew Rodrigo Thompson and niece Genevieve Thompson in Columbia, Maryland, the Coltrain Family in Middleburgh, New York, the Langley Family in Wellingborough, England and Australia, the Miller Family in Spokane, Washington and the Thompson Family in Delaware and Washington State.

Special thanks to the staff and residents at Willowridge Center, Maynardville, Tennessee for their care of Will over the last year as he fought through several medical conditions.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Fairview United Methodist Church, 2508 Old Niles Ferry Road, Maryville, Tennessee, 37803 on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 6:00pm. Visitation with the family will start at 5:00pm.
